T1 General: income tax package
A T1 General, is a document that summarizes your tax return. The software or individual who files your income taxes will provide a copy when your income taxes are filed.
Lenders require this document to verify income for self-employed individuals, as well as other income sources such as rental income.
WHERE CAN I FIND MY T1 GENERAL?
CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) does not receive or retain a copy of this document, it can only be obtained from the software or individual who originally filed the income tax return.
